Introduction to the Mocha
Australian fashion designer bornt in Hong Kong- Mocha was formally trained in Hong Kong Polytechnic University majoring textiles and clothings. During her studies Mocha focused heavily on fashion concepts and aesthetics, producing fashion illustrations/ graphics and organising exhibitions. She was the first student who organised her own fashion exhibition in the University (since 1937).
During the period in Hong Kong, Mocha worked as a full time and freelance designer for international brands, such as, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Macy's, Espirit, Victoria's Secret, next, Le Saunda, JCPenny and Aico.
Meanwhile, she designed home
furnishings, home decor products, outdoor products and bedding graphics for Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Indigo.
For menu designs, she created outstanding menus and posters for Grouchos, Waffle Yo and Riso in Hong Kong.
Based in Melbourne, Mocha started to establish her own brandname "Stylebaby", and has a great new start in life.
